Gilead example
- Click on the link to open the file
- Select "Play" to play the Flash simulation
- You will see a map come up
- From here you can explore all aspects of the map by expanding topics ("+") or contracting them ("-") - also use the symbols at the bottom of the screen to resize the map
- By opening the "Relationships" topic you will be able to see a complete list of all the companies with which Gilead have formed relationships, from Roche (license of Tamiflu?) to the recent acquisition of CV Therapeutics.
- By selecting the link symbol for the products concerned in the relationship you will be taken to the specific product; when you get there place the cursor over the icon that looks like a note and the contents of the specific story relating to that topic will appear. Clicking on the note will open a new window where the full text will appear.
- Similarly, if you click on a link next to a company name a new browser window will open and take you directly to that company's web site.
- Using these simple tools you can see how PharThinking™ allows for a detailed analysis of the entire disease area.
